Let's talk about the artists working on Strike right now. I want to thank three people for their help in making the game and the Kickstarter look cool. First up, we have Yuri Kavalerchik. His cartoony style is a great fit for the lighthearted themes of Strike. He is the primary illustrator for rules, with art that conveys the concepts while also looking great. Next, we have Kyla Austin. Her more realistic style is well-suited to background pieces and smaller designs that make reading the book a more beautiful experience. Next, we have Fiona Marie. She hasn't been drawing for the game. Instead, her input for layout and art direction has been vital in helping the overall design come together. I don't have an image to put here, but when you read the preview, the overall look of the layout and the cute little dice page numbers come from her.
Many thanks to my artists! Here's a website for Strike! The plan is that I will use this page here as a blog, providing updates and announcements about the game, along with notes about its design. You can find resources, including the starter adventures and player aid under "Start Playing Now!"
Expect the Kickstarter announcement to hit this space before the end of the month. |
